We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipping and receiving processes are executed efficiently. This position requires strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities.
Duties
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory levels.
Track shipments online.
Perform data entry tasks related to shipping and receiving activities, maintaining up-to-date records.
Conduct thorough inspections of received goods to verify quality and quantity against purchase orders.
Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment status and any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles, preferably within a supply chain or logistics environment.
Proficient in data entry with strong typing skills; attention to detail is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13,520.00-16,900.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
