Class 2 Driver Wanted - Friday, Saturday and Sunday

We are currently hiring an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our transport team.

This role is part-time:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Shifts are 9 hours per day, starting at 7:00 AM.

This role involves linen deliveries, vehicle safety checks, and providing professional customer service.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

Up-to-date CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card

Clean driving record

Experience as a commercial or delivery driver

Physically capable of handling some heavy lifting

Clear and professional communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and collect clean and soiled linen

Unload your vehicle at the depot after each shift

Load your vehicle for the next day when needed

Collect and return linen lists and delivery paperwork

Record delivery times and obtain customer signatures

Communicate with the office and Transport Manager

Complete daily vehicle safety checks (tyres, lights, oil, etc.)

Refuel and keep the interior of the vehicle clean

Wear all required safety equipment and high-visibility gear

Ensure the vehicle is returned to the depot and parked securely

Company Policies:

Drivers are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times. This includes no smoking in vehicles (including e-cigarettes), no unauthorized passengers, and wearing only appropriate uniform (no shorts or offensive logos). Vehicles must follow designated routes unless otherwise directed, and drivers must observe speed limits, use safety gear, and comply with company procedures. Any incidents, maintenance issues, or training needs must be reported promptly.
