Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their language skills, and promoting a love for literature and writing.

Duties

Deliver engaging lessons that cater to needs of students. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and progress. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development. Organise extracurricular activities that promote English language skills, such as book clubs or writing workshops. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

Experience

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and assessment techniques. A passion for literature and the ability to inspire students in their learning journey. Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes is an advantage.
