Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and your understanding of care plans will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and any changes in the client's condition. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in the client's health status. Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or transport of clients when necessary. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge related to care practices and IT systems used for documentation.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Strong communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and colleagues effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred for those who may need to transport clients or travel between locations. Familiarity with care plans and IT systems will be advantageous but can be taught during training sessions.
