Job Description

Saltfish is a seafood restaurant and organic wine bar set in the independently owned refurbished Georgian Houndgate Townhouse Hotel in the centre of Darlington. Saltfish offers a buzzing trade all day from breakfasts through to dinner service, showcasing fabulous fresh and sustainable seafood cooked on the open fire, freshly shucked oysters.

Our professional, dedicated and friendly team will guide the customers with pairing seafood and wines from our showstopper Wine Bar selection.

We are looking for a friendly, passionate, hungry and dedicated FOH team member to join the Saltfish team.

General duties will involve taking orders, preparing drinks, running food & drinks to tables, taking payments and assisting the front of house team and managers with any additional duties. Shifts are on a rota basis and will include some weekend and evening work.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Create a welcoming, environment for customers Ensuring consistent high quality service is met throughout the business Work closely with the Saltfish team to deliver the highest possible standard and most efficient service to the customer.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 9.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
