Hours: Part-time (Approx. 10.5 hours per week, based around Saturday. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate, but the position is reliant on your being able to work Saturday afternoons and evenings)

We pride ourselves on serving a thoughtfully curated selection of deli items alongside our cheese and charcuterie offering -- all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for a Part-Time Food Preparation Assistant to support our team behind the scenes. This is

not

a chef or cooking position, but it's a key role in helping us deliver an exceptional food experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with food prep tasks such as slicing meats and cheeses, preparing boards, portioning items, and assembling plates

Preparing accompaniments like chutneys, garnishes, and light snacks

Ensuring the prep area and utensils are clean, hygienic, and well-organised

Supporting the team during service by keeping ingredients stocked and ready

Following all food safety and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For:

Someone with a genuine interest in food and hospitality -- especially deli items and wine pairings!

Previous food handling experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided

Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently during busy periods

A team player with a good eye for detail and presentation

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a small, close-knit team
