Job Description
Founded in 1903, Newport Golf Club is regarded as one of the best parkland courses in Wales. A traditional yet progressive members' golf club Newport offers a warm welcome to prospective new members and visitors alike.
We are looking for a Part-Time employee to join our team and help in the maintenance of clubhouse and car park, as well as preparation of the golf course.
The successful applicant will report to the Course Manager. Their role will require the safe operation of all equipment work practices. The capacity to work outdoors in all seasonal conditions.
Duties will include:
Planned Daily Routines such as:
Golf course tasks such as bunker raking, divot filling and tidying of flower borders.
Weeding all areas around clubhouse.
Full litter pick of car park, clubhouse and surrounding areas. Full sweep or blow afterwards. Emptying litter bins on the golf course.
Power washing buggies.
Occasional general maintenance in clubhouse such as changing light bulbs.
Qualifications or Experience in Greenkeeping, gardening or landscaping would be advantageous but not a necessity. Use of machinery and power tools. Handy at odd jobs. Self-Motivated. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Excellent punctuality. Somebody who enjoys the outdoors. An interest in golf.

Pay: 17,796.30-30,842.72 per year
