Part Time Grounds Maintenance / Caretaker
Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Grounds Maintenance / Caretaker person to join our team. Working as part of a multi dynamic grounds team, to assist in the preparation and general care of all outdoor and indoor sporting facilities, including fine turf used for cricket and bowling, synthetic and winter sports surfaces for hockey, football and other sports.
Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of some grass playing surfaces including synthetic surfaces and outfields to ensure that they are of first-class standard.
Operating and maintaining ground equipment in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures.
Taking direction from the Head Groundsman and fulfil any reasonable request or duties required by him such as general maintenance and repair of sports equipment, collecting, removing and disposal of rubbish, ensuring you comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures especially NEBOSH and managing & liaison with users on a regular basis regarding car park management and pitch management.

Monday - 5.30pm - 10:30pm
Tuesday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Wednesday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Thursday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Friday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Saturday - 8:30am - 1:30pm
Saturday - 1:30pm - 6:30pm
Sunday - 10:00am - 3:00pm
Summer Shift Times (Apr - Sept)
Monday - 5.30pm - 10:30pm
Tuesday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Wednesday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Thursday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Friday - 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Saturday - 8:30am - 1:30pm

Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
