Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is an advantage. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks within the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
