We are a short-term letting agency with a growing residential lettings division. To support this expansion, we're looking for an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Lettings Negotiator/Compliance Administrator to join our team. This dual role involves working across both areas of both businesses, combining client-facing lettings work with essential compliance administration. The right candidate will be organised, approachable, and capable of balancing excellent customer service with regulatory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lettings Negotiator
Respond to tenant enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Arrange and conduct property viewings, providing a positive first impression.
Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and prospective tenants.
Support landlords with property marketing, including preparing and updating listings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
Compliance Administrator
Ensure properties meet all current legal and safety requirements (gas, electrical, EPC, licensing, etc.).
Maintain and update compliance records and documentation.
Support the tenant referencing process, ensuring checks are completed correctly.
Assist in preparing tenancy agreements and related paperwork.
Monitor and track renewal dates for certificates and licences, arranging updates proactively.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in lettings, estate agency, or property management.
ARLA or similar qualifications.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of lettings compliance and property legislation (highly desirable).
Confident IT user, with experience in Microsoft Office and property management software.
