Part-Time Maintenance / Handyman

About Us:

Paradox Museum London is an immersive attraction where art, science, and entertainment meet. We're looking for a skilled Part-Time Maintenance Person (Handyman / Facilities Technician) to help keep our exhibits and facilities safe, functional, and inspiring for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair work on exhibits, equipment, and building facilities Troubleshoot and fix electrical, mechanical, and technical issues (including PLCs if applicable) Carry out general handyman duties (plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding) Support preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime Assist with exhibit installation, adjustments, and technical checks Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, handyman, or technician roles Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to read schematics; PLC knowledge highly desirable Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage Safety-conscious, reliable, and proactive problem solver Excellent communication and customer service skills
