Personal Specification
Essential:
QCF /NVQ level 2 CCLD/ A level in Childcare or equivalent.
Experience working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity
Applicants must be over 18 years' old
A willingness to undertake additional training
Flexible and enthusiastic
Desirable:
1 years' experience in a paid capacity working with children aged 5 months to 4 years
Experience in planning and observations
Valid paediatric first aid, food safety and safeguarding certificates

The Nursery Assistant will be working as part of a Key Worker team for the daily needs of children between the ages of 5 months and 11 years within the setting.

Salary and Conditions
Rate of pay:
18-20: 11.00 per hour
21+ 13.00 per hour
Part-time Hours:
16 hours per week (2 days)
24 hours per week (3 days)
10.5 hours per week (2.30pm-6pm - 3 afternoons)
7.5 hours per day (various shifts between 7.30am-6pm)
Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm
Holidays: 20 days per year plus 10 Bank Holidays pro rata
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 11.00-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
