Competitive Salary:

29,500.00per annum, pro rata

Location:

Harleigh Road Dental Clinic, covering Outreach activities and also providing support for our Mobile Dental Unit (MDU)

4 Days per week, 30 hours

Are you passionate about making dental care accessible to everyone? We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Outreach Dental Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in delivering oral health services and supporting the delivery of dentistry via our MDU to communities across the county.



As an Outreach Dental Nurse, youll support a range of community-based dental initiatives, working with patients who may have difficulty accessing traditional dental services including schools, care homes, and vulnerable populations.



About the Role:




Assist dental clinicians in delivering care in outreach settings across the county Support the delivery of our mobile dental services, provided from our MDU across Cornwall Provide chairside support during community clinics and oral health education sessions Ensure equipment and materials are prepared and maintained for off-site clinics Support infection control, patient safety, and safeguarding protocols in non-clinical settings Help to promote oral health through education and engagement with patients and carers Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties related to outreach services


About the You:




GDC-registered Dental Nurse Oral Health Education Qualification NEBDN Certificate in Fluoride Varnish Application Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently and in new environments Organised, flexible, and committed to delivering care in diverse community settings A full driving licence is essential for travel between outreach locations Experience in community or outreach dentistry is desirable, but not essential
