Experienced Book-keeper / Wye, Kent / 2 Days per week - 25,000- 28,000 FTE.
Overview:
We are a very busy firm of book-keepers going from strength to strength and need a part-time experienced payroll assistant and book-keeper to join our small team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Book-keeping for various clients; including bank reconciliations, month end journals, preparing VAT returns and preparing accounts to trial balance.
Posting Debtors and Creditors, producing supplier payment runs.
Utilise systems such as Xero and Sage on a daily basis
Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns.
Payroll:
Prepare weekly and monthly payroll.
Manage starters and leavers.
Deal with timesheets and hourly paid workers.
Prepare pension information and upload.
Full training will be provided.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5+ years' experience working within book-keeping
Great communication skills
Confident liaising with external clients and HMRC
Experience using Xero or any other accounting software
Experience of working in a practice environment would be an advantage.
Working days Monday and Tuesday, 9-5.
