We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payroll systems and accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery while adhering to compliance regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, particularly Human Resources.
Duties
Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy in data entry and compliance with relevant legislation.
Utilise payroll software such as Workday, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft to process payroll efficiently.
Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to reflect employee data changes accurately.
Oversee accounts payable functions related to payroll, including deductions and benefits administration.
Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment between payroll processes and employee records.
Prepare detailed reports and analyses on payroll metrics for management review.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting payroll processing.
Experience
Proven experience in a payroll management role or similar position within an accounting or HR environment.
Proficiency in using accounting software and HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
A solid understanding of accounts payable processes as they relate to payroll functions.
