3x part-time roles available

This is a part-time on and off-site role for a PE Teaching Assistant/Sports Coach at CREATED Academy School located in Stoke-On-Trent. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting with sports and physical education classes, helping students with physical activities and coaching multi-sports, and providing support to the main teacher. Training will be provided and flexibility is essential.

Hours and sessions can be assigned on a casual or regular basis to suit the right candidates

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, motor skills, and teamwork. Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring all students are included and encouraged to participate. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Organise and supervise sports events, competitions, and physical education classes. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into the wider curriculum. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and development. Daily Logs and data input to support the overall reporting system and evidence gathering to enhance the quality of monitoring student progress.

Qualifications

Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. A commitment to promoting health, fitness, and well-being among students. Knowledge of various sports rules, techniques, and training methods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: 84.00-120.00 per day

Expected hours: 2 - 16 per week
