We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic private dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about their treatment plans and addressing any concerns they may have. Record patient information accurately in the IT system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and support before, during, and after dental procedures. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the field.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Familiarity with dental IT system (EXACT) is advantageous for managing patient records effectively. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
