We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving sales within our retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed. Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in transactions and product displays. Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing sales accurately. Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as required by the business needs.
