We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our sales team at The Antique
Village. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with
enquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Who are We?
Opened in 2019, The Antique Village brand has grown significantly year on year to
become one of the country's foremost Antique Centres. With over one hundred dealer
concessions over three sales floors we are regularly featured on TV and have ambition to
grow and develop even greater footfall and sales at our 'out of town' destination. We have
raised the bar on traditional Antiques Centres and pride ourselves on a professionally
curated, well merchandised store with a welcoming atmosphere for our dealers and
customers alike.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and o?er assistance to enhance their shopping experience
Provide product information and answer customer queries e?ectively
Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments securely
Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the sales floor and back of house areas
Assist the team to create a visually exciting environment
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets through outstanding customer service
Requirements
Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work e?ectively - both independently and as part of a team
Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all tasks
Flexibility to work during store opening hours, including weekends
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
A proactive approach to assisting customers and resolving issues promptly
An interest in antiques and vintage
This role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet all shift with occasional heavy lifting; chests of drawers etc. Therefore, a good level of physical fitness is essential.
