Sales Canvasser

to help drive our business growth.

We are a family run business operating from a busy town centre office (free on-site parking available)

Role Overview

As a Part-Time Sales Canvasser, you will be the face of Richmond Scientific, responsible for reaching out to customers and introducing them to our range of products and services. Using your excellent communication skills, you'll engage with decision-makers, identify their needs, and generate sales opportunities. If you're someone who thrives on meeting new people, enjoys working independently, and has a passion for sales, we want to hear from you!

This is a part-time role, 5 hours per day Monday to Friday (25hrs pw)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound canvassing to existing customers to generate new leads and identify sales opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with potential customers in the scientific and laboratory sector. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales leads in our CRM system. Work closely with the sales team to track progress, report on outcomes, and close deals. Represent Richmond Scientific with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or canvassing (ideal, but not essential, we're looking for enthusiasm and a can-do attitude). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent telephone manner. Comfortable using CRM systems or willing to learn. A genuine interest in the scientific and laboratory sector would be an advantage.
