We are a small, passionate, and highly driven team focused on delivering exceptional results, building a unique brand, and expanding our reach. As we scale and continue to grow, we are looking for a part time Sales representative to support growth across UK retail channels.
Role overview
The Sales representative will be responsible for developing new retail partnerships and supporting existing accounts within agreed territories. The role involves regular in-person visits, relationship management, and close collaboration with the founder to support commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and open new B2B retail accounts, including pet shops, garden centres, and specialist stores
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the founder, ensuring clear communication around priorities, opportunities, and feedback from the field
- Conduct in-person sales visits and product demonstrations
- Manage retailer relationships after onboarding, providing ongoing support and education
- Communicate product information clearly, including care, handling, and welfare guidance
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and accounts
- Represent Ants HQ at trade shows, events, and exhibitions as required
- Adhere to company policies, animal welfare standards, and relevant UK regulations
Person specification
Essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in face-to-face sales and relationship building
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organised, reliable, and professional
Desirable
- Experience in sales, account management, or field-based roles
- Interest in animals, insects, nature, or education
- Familiarity with retail or B2B environments
- Full, clean UK driving licence
