Part-Time School Run Driver (Term Time Only - Paid All Year!)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Around 5 hours a day - 2 hours in the morning (roughly 7am-9am) and 2 hours in the afternoon (around 2pm-4pm). You'll still have time for brunch, errands, or a nap in between!

What's the job?

We're looking for lovely, reliable drivers to join our team transporting children with special educational needs to and from school. You'll be driving one of our bright blue happy buses (yes, we really call them that!) and making a huge difference to families every day. It's part-time hours, but a full-time heart job.

You'll be the calm, friendly face kids see every morning and afternoon - making sure their journey is safe, smooth, and maybe even a bit fun. You'll be working Tuesday to Friday, and here's the best bit - you'll only work 190 days a year, but we pay you every month like clockwork, even in the holidays.

What we're looking for:

People with kindness, patience, and a good sense of direction

You'll need to be medically fit and happy to undergo a DBS check (we pay for it!)

Able to stay calm and smiley under a bit of pressure (school mornings, you know!)

Reliable, punctual, and someone who truly cares about the wellbeing of the children in your care

Bonus points if you're the type who waves at animals from the window or keeps mints in your pocket.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport children with special educational needs to and from school in one of our lovely blue happy buses

Be a kind and reassuring presence - some of our passengers need a bit of extra patience and a friendly smile

Work closely with school staff, parents, and our team to make sure everyone's in the loop and everything runs smoothly

Arrive on time (early birds and reliable humans, we see you!)

Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and child-friendly (bonus points for stickers or gentle music)

Communicate clearly if something's wrong - breakdowns, delays, flying squirrels (okay, maybe not that one)

Stay calm under pressure and think on your feet - especially if someone forgets their backpack for the third time this week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 11.44-19.37 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
