Part-Time SEN 1:1 Support - Infant School (Horsham)

Support a child with additional needs | Term-time only | Warm, welcoming school environment

We are currently recruiting for a caring and committed individual to join a lovely infant school in Horsham, providing 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, working closely with one pupil to support their learning, emotional development, and daily routines. The role is ideal for someone with a nurturing approach and a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to the child's individual needs Assist with classroom activities and transitions Support emotional regulation and social interaction Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable but not essential) A patient, empathetic and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
