Job Purpose

Leading a high-quality programme of stimulating Active Play, Enrichment and Core Skills experiences to ensure active participation and equality of opportunity for all children attending under the supervision of the Site Leader. You would be assigned to the Create and Discover Team or the PE and Sports Team, depending upon your preference. The role also supports the Site Leader in administration and running of the site.

Working Pattern:

Part-time: 4 to 16 hours per week Term-time only or all year round available Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday (you choose the days) We build your fixed hours with you to ensure you have work-life balance Range of start times to suit you: 7.15am, 1.15pm, 2.30pm and 3pm Range of finish times to suit you 9.15am, 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.15pm Three examples: 1.15pm to 6.15pm; 2.30pm to 5.30pm; 7.15am to 9.15am.

Opportunity for pay progression in career pathways Starting rate: 12.21 to 13.96 per hour

Essential Experience:

One year experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds in a childcare, education or formal setting. We have a volunteer programme and paid Activity Leader role for those not qualifying for this essential requirement. See our other job roles.

Desirable Qualifications:

NVQ level 2, Teaching or relevant Childcare qualification One year experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds in a childcare, education or formal setting GSCE (or equivalent) Maths Grade C GSCE (or equivalent) English Grade C Paediatric First Aid Level 2 Food Hygiene
