Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, with a strong focus on food safety and guest satisfaction. The successful applicant will be organised, efficient, and passionate about providing outstanding service.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during service and preparation Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales Culinary or hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential A proactive attitude with the ability to work well within a team and independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
