About Innovation Nursery

Innovation Nursery isn't another co-working space. We're a living lab where rebels, reimaginers and makers come together to test and build new systems for how we live, work, and grow. Based in Cornwall, we are unafraid to challenge the rules, break a few, and build something better in their place.

We're now looking for a part-time Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager to tell our rebellious story through digital channels and grow our community both online and in person.

The Role

This is not a role for someone looking to churn out safe content. It's about capturing the energy, people and projects that make Innovation Nursery unique and sharing that story with the world in a way that provokes, excites, and inspires.

Reporting to our Head of Communications, you'll be embedded in the life of Innovation Nursery: on-site in Pentewan, travelling with the team to events, and working alongside founders and reimaginers to bring their stories to life.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a content calendar across all social platforms. Create, edit, and publish high-quality, story-driven content (with a strong focus on short-form video such as Instagram Reels). Capture the personalities, projects, and energy of Innovation Nursery through on-site content creation. Manage and engage our growing social media communities, sparking meaningful conversations and building relationships. Support wider marketing and communications initiatives. Travel with the team to conferences and events to capture live content (all expenses covered).

What We're Looking For

A self-starter with ambition and drive, someone who makes things happen without waiting for permission. A love of telling unique, provocative stories through social media. A creative eye and flair for content that cuts through the noise. Thirst for understanding how new systems can be built and tested. A positive, accountable attitude and willingness to learn. A deep connection to Cornwall, its culture, people, and potential. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
