Established in 2016, MEDii Health is the market leader in addressing the healthcare needs of oriental clientele in the UK, with our flagship clinic located in central London.

We are seeking to recruit an additional clinical ultrasound sonographer for our Marylebone clinic in central London, available to start on a part-time basis as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be London-based, with experience in breast imaging and general ultrasound expertise.

Duties and responsibilities of this role are as follows:

1. Independently perform comprehensive and detailed ultrasound scans to a high standard, producing clear clinical reports.

1.1 Proficiency in abdominal, trans-abdominal, transvaginal pelvic scans, and breast imaging is essential.

1.2 Ability to perform obstetric, small parts, musculoskeletal (MSK), and vascular imaging is advantageous.

2. Undertake administrative tasks that support patient flow and timely delivery of patient results.

3. Engage in personal continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge.

4. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety, data protection, confidentiality, and complaint handling.

5. Participate in individual performance reviews and appraisals on an annual basis.

To be considered you will have the following requirements

:

Eligibility to reside and work in the UK

Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent

Overseas qualification equivalent to Pg Dip

Registered with the HCPC and SOR or RCT

2 years post qualification experience gained in NHS Trusts and Private Enterprises

To be able to work proficiently in all main areas of Ultrasound practice

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong patient-centred approach.

We are only able to accept applications from qualified and experienced Sonographers with recent work history.

Required licence or certification: HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council), NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council), GMC (General Medical Council), SoR (Society of Radiographers) or BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society)
Job Type: Part-time with one session per week initially.
