Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the restaurant environment.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services. Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods. Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
