Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to guarantee the health and safety of our guests.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions accurately. Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
