Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions. Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and safety standards. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to perform basic maths for handling bills and transactions accurately. A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
