Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Handle payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in transactions. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to provide prompt service to all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary basics. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills. A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
