As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly attitude.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. A keen interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items and ingredients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operating hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.00-12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
