Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen as needed. Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections. Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills for billing purposes. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly. Assist with setting up and clearing tables as well as restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
