Part-Time Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team for

3 days per week

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is well organised, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently

Preparing and assembling orders for dispatch

Conduct regular stock takes to ensure stock levels are sufficient and order stock with the merchandising team.

Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock organisation and housekeeping

Adhere to new and existing stock management, ensure that all information is accurately inputted.

Building and preparing merchandising POS (Point of Sale) displays

Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations

Ensure and promote compliance with all health and safety, quality and human resource policies of Abingdon Flooring.

You may occasionally be asked to assist with preparing for shows, building prototypes, or demonstration stands. This will include locating and preparing samples; it may also involve making local deliveries and carrying out activities on other sites.

Ensure that the warehouse is kept in an overall state of tidiness and cleanliness, and make sure that waste and recyclables are properly disposed of.

About You:

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Good attention to detail

Comfortable with hands-on, physical work

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous warehouse or packing experience is an advantage, but not essential

Forklift truck licence and/or driving licence would be an advantage.

Attention to detail on identifying the correct orders are in excellent condition for dispatch.

Physically fit enough to perform some lifting and long periods of standing or walking within the warehouse setting.

Warehouse - weather and temperature effected

Hours:

Part-time

3 full days per week (days to be agreed)

9am - 5pm

22 hours per week

12.21 per hour
