The team delivers approximately 250,000 passenger journeys per year including 20,000 wheelchair user journeys. We also undertake registered local bus services and community transport journeys.

You will be responsible for the safety of passengers during these journeys and will ensure that the passengers board and alight safely as well as ensuring that any safety equipment is used correctly. Full training in the use of all safety equipment will be provided.
You will need effective communication skills as you will liaise daily with the passengers, carers, and establishment staff. Experience is not essential: however, some experience of assisting passengers in accessible vehicles or working in a similar role would be an advantage for this position.
