About the Role

We're looking for caring and responsible

Passenger Transport Assistants (PTAs)

to accompany young passengers on their journeys to and from school. This is a

self-employed position

based in Newcastle, starting as soon as a suitable school run becomes available.

As a PTA, you'll play a key role in ensuring the

safe, punctual and comfortable

transport of service users between home and school. Journeys typically take place during

morning and afternoon school hours

, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexible, part-time work.

Many of our school runs are for children and young people with

additional or complex needs

, including disabilities. You may be required to complete

specialist training

to ensure their safety and wellbeing during travel.
