We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our Multi-Award Winning music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for music, and helping students achieve their musical goals.

Duties

Develop and deliver structured piano lessons tailored to individual student needs and abilities. Teach fundamental music theory alongside practical piano skills. Prepare students for performances, examinations, and competitions as appropriate. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any areas for development. Stay updated on current teaching methods, trends in music education, and repertoire suitable for various skill levels.

Requirements

Proven experience as a piano teacher or performer with a strong understanding of various musical styles. Proficiency in playing the piano at an advanced level. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching music. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and preferences. A degree in Music or Music Education is preferred but not essential; relevant experience will be considered. Knowledge of music theory is highly advantageous.
