Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Implement and maintain food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while considering guest preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings. Excellent leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Previous experience in high-pressure kitchen environments is essential. A passion for culinary arts, with an eagerness to learn and innovate within the kitchen.
