Pasta Chef

for our sister restaurant, Maccaruna.

Your day-to-day:

To assist in the preparation of excellent quality food: making the pasta and the sauces from scratch. To cook the pasta in front our customers providing an excellent food quality and customer service. To ensure that the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic at all times with relevant paperwork 100% compliant To clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas To sort, store and distribute ingredients To assist in stock-taking and storage, including checking deliveries To report any problems to the shift leader or to one of the directors

You'll have the following:

Previous experience working with fresh pasta The ability to follow recipes to make fresh pasta and sauces to Aromi spec To be able to work independently and as part of a team, to be willing to learn To be able to work efficiently within a busy high-pressured kitchen Highly organised and punctual, driven to learn in a busy environment Excellent attention to detail Great understanding of the importance of health and hygiene
