Mudeford Community Infants School is seeking a Pastoral Leader. The working pattern is Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm term time only (32.5 hours a week).
The start date is Thursday 4 September
This will be paid on a BCP Band F SCP 12-17 (14.36-15.58) depending on experience. Pay award pending.

Pastoral Leader Main Job Purpose:
Provide pastoral support for all children acting as a Key Worker for children with specific social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Work closely with class teachers and teaching assistants to personalise support for individual children and their families.
Work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO to identify opportunities and prioritise support, including suggestions for school development in this area.
Provide support to parents regarding the welfare of their children eg: attendance, behaviour strategies, support with Home Learning, advice and signposting.
If appropriate, be the lead professional at TAF meetings.
Assist in the administration to organise and arrange visits from other professionals and agencies such as the school nurse and Early Help.
To be a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
