We are looking for a committed and proactive individual to join our Sixth Form team as a

Pastoral Support Assistant

.


In this vital role, you'll provide both administrative support and direct assistance to students, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment where every young person can reach their full potential. You'll work closely with staff and students to ensure that the day-to-day running of the Sixth Form is smooth, supportive, and student-centred.


A key part of this position is managing the Sixth Form Silent Study facilities. This involves allocating students to the provision, registering their attendance, following up on any absences, and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning. This oversight also extends to managing ad-hoc satellite silent study facilities as needed, assisting with the supervision of Sixth Form detentions, and taking responsibility for the wall displays in the silent study room and Study Centre.

This is a permanent full-time position; 37 hours per week, term time only. The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm.
