Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry preparation and a keen understanding of American, Japanese, and French dessert techniques. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment alongside some of the industry's most renowned chefs.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Pastry Chef in all aspects of pastry production, including but not limited to baking, plating, and dessert menu development.

- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods with precision and attention to detail.

- Ensure that all pastry items are executed to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new and innovative dessert offerings that reflect our unique culinary concept.

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Train and mentor junior pastry team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment.

- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, chocolate work, and sugar work.

- Creativity and innovation in dessert preparation, with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and ingredients.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Formal culinary training or relevant pastry certification is preferred.

Schedule:

- Full-time position, averaging 45 to 55 hours per week.

- Tuesday to Monday schedule, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
