Pastry Chef - Join Our Exceptional Kitchen Team

We are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Pastry Chef to join our talented and passionate Kitchen Brigade. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a high-quality, creative kitchen environment.

Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef is essential, and we are therefore only able to consider applicants who have held this role previously.

Reporting directly to our Executive Head Chef, you will play an integral role within the kitchen management team. You will contribute to menu development, oversee preparation and presentation, maintain exceptional standards of quality and freshness, and assist with stock control and ordering.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

Preparing a wide range of baked goods including pastries, cakes, croissants and biscuits Producing creams, custards, sauces, ice creams and sorbets Working with chocolate and other confectionery items Preparing both sweet and savoury pastries Decorating cakes and desserts to a high standard Running and coordinating pastry kitchen operations confidently and efficiently Supporting the Head and Sous Chefs with menu development and innovation Providing guidance and support to junior members of the kitchen team Maintaining excellent organisation, including FIFO stock rotation and accurate food labelling Ensuring pastry sections are fully stocked during service Upholding the highest standards of food hygiene, health & safety and fire procedures

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail A strong team player who can also work independently Calm, positive and approachable, even under pressure Passionate about quality, presentation and consistency
