Key Responsibilities:
Lead the pastry section, managing preparation, production, and service of all pastry, desserts, and baked goods.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to develop and refine seasonal dessert menus, specials, and bespoke creations.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all pastry offerings.
Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and allergen management procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.
Manage stock levels for the pastry section, including ordering, stock rotation, and wastage control.
Provide support, training, and guidance to junior kitchen staff as required, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Ensure that all pastry equipment is maintained, clean, and in perfect operating order.
About You:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef within a quality restaurant environment.
A genuine passion for desserts, patisserie, and modern British cuisine.
Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
Excellent knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and allergen procedures.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a wider kitchen team.
