We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and produce a wide range of pastry items, including cakes, cookies and other baked goods
Follow recipes accurately and ensure consistency in quality and presentation
Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry station in accordance with food safety standards
Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
Skills
Proven experience in food production, food preparation, and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong baking skills with knowledge of various pastry techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Previous restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Creative flair for developing innovative pastry designs and flavours
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
