Role Overview
We are are seeking an
experienced pastry chef
specializing in viennoiserie to join our client's production team. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality croissants, Danish pastries, brioche doughs, tray cakes etc plus new product development to support boutique hotels and cafes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake viennoiserie daily -- croissants, Danishes, brioche, etc.
Develop and trial new pastry products in line with client branding.
Maintain consistency, quality control, and food safety standards.
Collaborate with production managers to meet delivery schedules.
Work Schedule & Terms
Schedule:
5 days per week, Monday-Friday
Hours:
Start between 10?am-midday , app 9/10 hr shift
Environment:
Production bakery with multiple daily delivery runs
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in artisan viennoiserie production (2+ years)
Strong technical knowledge: croissant laminating, Danish shaping, brioche dough handling
Creativity in NPD -- recipe formulation, flavour profiling
Excellent time management and hygiene practice
Ability to work to precise schedules and quality standards
