Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items. Ensure all food production meets quality standards for taste, presentation, and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service hours. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in cooking techniques, particularly in baking and pastry preparation. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within a kitchen environment. Experience in food production within a restaurant or culinary setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A creative flair for designing visually appealing desserts that delight customers. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
