We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pastry CDP to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Support the kitchen team with food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and baking as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment after use.
Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety principles and practices is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
