Steddy Ltd are looking for energetic PA's to work with our individual who has a brain injury, epilepsy, and other complex needs,

About The Role

We are a Care Company that provides Case Management support to individual clients who have sustained life changing injuries. We are looking for PA's to support a gentleman in his 30s who has suffered a severe brain injury. He lives in his own home but needs 24 /7 support for all his activities of daily living. He has a Case Manager, Occupational Therapist and Private Physiotherapist who have been working with him to help provide additional therapy.

Our client has his own fully adapted vehicle for use to transport him to all activities and full training will be provided with regard to driving/securing his wheelchair during transit.

Hours

40 hours per week including working weekends and night shift

Skills & Attributes:

Previous experience of working with clients with a brain injury and complex needs is essential

Experience of Epilepsy

Demonstrate awareness of risk

Caring & Compassionate

Excellent communication skills with team Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative Prepared to be Flexible with days Able to work alongside another colleague PBM trained

Duties:

Supporting with cooking Supporting with gardening Supporting to complete household chores such as laundry and domestic duties Support with hydrotherapy Participate in activities, in and out of house Liaise with Health professionals and Physio Provide feedback information to Case Manager Driving the gentleman's adapted vehicle to accompany him to medical appointments and activities

Job Requirements:

A clean driving licence is essential. A Vehicle is provided for all trips from clients home address but own vehicle/transport required to travel to and from address
You will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure check for this position. This will be paid for by the company and recouped should you be successful
