Your Next Role: Patient Administration Manager
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced
Patient Administration Manager
to lead our administrative team across all Newmedica Bristol locations. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring operational excellence, optimising clinic and theatre utilisation, and delivering outstanding patient care and customer service.
You'll work closely with clinical and surgical leads, manage key performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement across our administrative functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing healthcare organisation
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily patient administration operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Manage waiting lists and align clinic/theatre schedules with service demand.
Utilise internal systems (OPERA, ePR, CPM, OpenEyes) to manage the patient journey.
Lead communication standards and resolve administrative complaints.
Produce performance reports using tools like PowerBI.
Drive improvements in administrative processes and service delivery.
Lead private patient services, including referral pathways, payments, and reporting.
People Management
Lead and develop a multi-tiered administrative team.
Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and high performance.
Deputise for the Head of Business when required.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to CQC standards, GDPR, and internal policies.
Promote patient safety, infection control, and equality & diversity.
Support audit activities and represent administration in governance meetings.
Provide accurate reports to Integrated Care Boards and Head Office.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in healthcare administration or operational management.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in data reporting and systems management.
Commitment to patient care and service excellence.
